Baby Basics Dover & Deal >
Baby Basics is a volunteer-led project aiming to support new mothers and families who are struggling to meet the financial and practical burden of looking after a new baby. Baby Basics started in Sheffield in the spring of 2009. Baby Basics provides much needed essentials and equipment to mothers and families who are unable to provide these items for themselves; including but not limited to teenage mums, people seeking asylum and women fleeing domestic abuse and trafficking. We serve Dover, Deal and surrounding villages. If you want to make a donation please contact, details below. More information about donating can be found on the Facebook page ‘Baby Basics Dover & Deal’ https://en-gb.facebook.com/babybasicsdover/ Or email babybasicsdover@gmail.com
Dover Foodbank >
We don’t think anyone in our community should have to face going hungry. That’s why we provide three days’ nutritionally balanced emergency food and support to local people who are referred to us in crisis. We are part of a nationwide network of foodbanks, supported by The Trussell Trust, working to combat poverty and hunger across the UK. http://dover.foodbank.org.uk/

Dover Outreach Centre >
Dover Outreach Centre operates out of Victory House, Snargate Street, Dover. This outreach service will offer opportunities for socially isolated groups such as the homeless and vulnerable to receive services at the Centre. As well as being a pleasant environment in which to socialise the services offered include a needs assessment, looking at each person’s individual needs and directing them to appropriate services. http://www.doveroutreachcentre.org/
